How To Choose A Vibration Temperature Sensor?

Vibration Temperature Sensors

A vibration temperature sensor is a type of electrical power that receives mechanical quantities and converts them into proportions. They are sometimes called transducers, pickups, etc. because they are all electromechanical engineering conversion devices. A vibration temperature sensor does not immediately convert an initially measured mechanical quantity into electrical power, but rather uses the initially measured mechanical quantity as an input to the vibration sensor, and then produces another mechanical quantity suitable for conversion, which is converted by the electromechanical engineering into electrical power. Therefore, the performance of the sensor depends on the performance of the mechanical receiving part and the electromechanical engineering conversion part.

The ability of a vibration temperature sensor to operate with its characteristics remaining unchanged after a period of application is called reliability. In addition to the structure of the sensor itself, the key to the long-term reliability of the sensor is the natural environment in which the sensor is applied. Therefore, in order for a sensor to have good reliability, the sensor must be highly adaptable to the natural environment. Before selecting the sensor, the application study of the natural environment is addressed, and the appropriate sensor is selected according to the actual application of the natural environment, or appropriate countermeasures are taken to reduce the hazards of the natural environment.

The reliability of vibration temperature sensors has a quantitative analysis indicator value. Prior to use, the sensor should be recalibrated to determine if the characteristics of the sensor have changed.

Accuracy is a key performance parameter for vibration temperature sensors and a critical aspect of measurement accuracy for all measurement system software. The higher the accuracy of the sensor, the more expensive it is. Therefore, the accuracy of the sensor should not be too high if the accuracy of all measurement system software is taken into account. In this way, we can choose a more cost-effective and simpler sensor from a large number of sensors with the same measurement purpose.

When selecting a vibration temperature sensor, we should pay attention to the following issues:

1. There are two general methods for checking single-phase current or three-phase current transmitters.

2. Launching the machine into the current category - Due to the wide variety of specific load currents, in order to integrate these things, one usually starts by selecting a current transformer to convert the large current into a smaller current of 1A or 5A. Therefore, the input to the vibration temperature sensor is generally selected based on the secondary current of the current transformer.

3. Auxiliary power supply specifications and models - AC transmitters accurately detect changes in the input current and output DC data signals to convert the input current to a linear conversion. Generally, the auxiliary power supply must be the power supply for more transmitters in operation. In general, it must be noted that some transmitters claim to require no auxiliary power supply, i.e. passive current transformers. This type of transmitter should be used with caution.

4. The current transformer is usually subjected to large load currents when the transmitter's input load operating capacity - load current load or system software common faults occur. In this case, the ability to withstand large load current becomes a key indicator value of the performance of the integrated vibration sensor.

5. AC transmitter reliability - as a measuring instrument, vibration temperature sensor must be accurate, the key performance is stable and reliable. This performance is usually reflected at the beginning of product design. All analog conversion instruments are not protected against temperature drift due to changes in operating temperature. In order to minimize the temperature drift of the commodity, various commodity components and circuits use their own unique technology.
