Principle of Shock Acceleration Sensor

Our usual courier logistics information is usually over a period of time. When the logistics arrives at the transfer station, our express information will be updated so we can know where our express has gone. So, how to locate real-time express transportation status in real time like our vehicles? At this point, asset monitoring equipment is needed to fulfill this requirement.

Asset monitoring equipment generally accomplishes positioning through GPS and other means, and the location can be viewed directly in the background. Real-time and visualization are the two highlights of asset monitoring equipment.

However, people who have used GPS should experience that the GPS signal is weak when they are in the jungle or in a high-rise building. In this case, if they want to locate people or objects in real time, they need to use impact accelerometers.

Shock acceleration sensors usually convert acceleration into other physical quantities for indirect measurement. Commonly used shock acceleration sensors work on the piezoelectric effect of crystals. The principle is that when there is an acceleration, the crystal inside the sensor will deform to produce a voltage. The acceleration value can be detected and measured by simply measuring the voltage value and utilizing the relationship between the crystal's voltage, deformation and acceleration (inherent relationship). The accuracy of the voltage acquisition determines the accuracy of the acceleration.

How to choose the right shock acceleration sensor:

When selecting and using shock acceleration sensors, the accuracy of the shock acceleration sensor needs to be determined based on the actual usage scenario, because the higher the accuracy, the higher the cost. Even by measuring acceleration due to gravity, it is possible to calculate the inclination of a device relative to a horizontal plane. The accuracy requirements for detectors and crash alarms differ from the accuracy requirements for simple shock acceleration sensor positioning.

I. Development of the acceleration impact tester

1 Connect the computer, interface box, monitor, keyboard and impact tester with a special connecting cable (we have been connected during installation and debugging).

2. Connect the computer, interface box, monitor and air pump power supply with a special power cord.

3. Clean the combined surface of the shock acceleration sensor and the test bench, and use 502 glue to combine the shock acceleration sensor and the test bench firmly.

40 acceleration impact tester sensor and the test bench firmly connected, should use a special cable (low noise cable) firmly connected (one end connected to the output port of the impact acceleration sensor, the other end is connected to the port box on the back panel of the "sensor input socket").

II. Acceleration impact tester simulator pre-setting:

A non-test specimen (weighing close to the total weight of the test object and fixture) is mounted on a bench where the simulated components are pre-adjusted so that the test object will not be damaged by excessive shock pulse acceleration due to improper pre-adjustment.
